Director of Advancement

Moreau Catholic High School is a coeducational, college preparatory school committed to outstanding achievement. Moreau Catholic is currently seeking a Director of Advancement. This senior leadership position provides an exceptional opportunity for a fundraising professional to have an essential role in building a culture of philanthropy that encourages financial support for our school community. Working closely with the President, the Director will plan, create, coordinate and implement strategies to increase donor engagement and secure additional contributions. The

Director of Advancement, along with subordinate staff, serves as an ambassador and is charged with establishing, developing, and maintaining relationships with alumni, faculty, staff, parents, and friends of Moreau that will lead to commitments to provide financial resources for operational and capital needs.

Responsibilities include:

 Provide expertise and staffing for the President, Board of Trustees, Advancement Committee, and school personnel in establishing short and long-term planning goals,

strategies, and objectives which focus on programs aimed at cultivating and defining volunteer leadership, constituents, donors, foundations, corporations, and forecasting

gains and returns;

 Collaboratively develop and supervise the marketing and communications programs;

 Build and manage a broad base of individual donors and prospects, and prospect segments identified as having the greatest potential for growth;

 Develop and calendar communication and solicitation strategies designed to create a sustainable annual and major gift support;

 Supervise the design, content and publication of the Vector and On Course, in collaboration with the Principal and President.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years’ of experience in fundraising programs and events, including organizing and implementing major gifts, annual gifts, grant writing, corporate and foundation giving; demonstrated experience in creating and managing budgets, forecasting and reporting. Proficiency with development software, including Raisers Edge, MS Office and social media platforms, PowerSchool a plus.
