Starting in the Fall of 2016, Moreau Catholic students will experience new ways of imagining, creating, and exploring science in the newly renovated Innovation Lab. Mariner scientists believe that learning is best experienced by doing, and have adopted virtual holographic technology to bring learning to life. MIT called this zSpace program "stunning"; Forbes ranked it as one of the top start-ups of 2015. Learn more about zSpace and how it is revolutionizing learning for our students here.

Steve Jobs said, “ Innovation is what distinguishes a leader from a follower.” Mariner students will lead the next generation of innovators, learning to change the world in unique and dynamic ways. In our newly renovated Design Studio, our robotics, engineering, and conceptual physics students will apply scientific principles in an environment that promote risk-taking and invention. One of the most powerful educational experiences we can have is creating something that wasn't there before. Mariners will give particular focus to inventing with a purpose; creating processes and designing projects that will contribute to making our world a better place.
Selected as a pilot school for educational 3D bioprinting, Moreau Catholic hosts five bioprinters where students develop and apply a code to print proteins, cells, and DNA with innovative educational applications for biotechnology, bioengineering, and green engineering. This technology is revolutionizing the professional industry in the areas of tissue engineering, organ production, and medical device development. This Mariner pilot program is a game changer and authentically takes that leap into your student’s future.
