Welcome to Moreau Catholic’s Summer School Programs!

From semester and yearlong courses for current high school students looking to move forward in their academics to enrichment courses for students looking to explore their interests or grow their skills, summer school at Moreau is filled with opportunities for students to take their learning to the next level.

Please take the time to look through the courses we have to offer using the links below and find the program that is right for you. Please note that although enrollment priority is given to Moreau Catholic students first, we want to welcome students from other school communities to sign-up for classes and see the difference that Moreau Catholic High School has to offer.

POLICIES

Withdrawals/Refunds

The last day to withdraw from any course is Wednesday, June 21. After this date, full refunds will not be provided; an application/processing fee of $100 will be charged per class for withdrawals. After June 30, no refund will be issued for students dropping a course.

Attendance and Behavior Expectations

Regular daily attendance at summer school is absolutely essential for success. Students are allowed a maximum of three (3) absences. Every tardy will count as 1/4 of an absence. An appearance code is in effect during summer school. Rules and expectations will be explained in a Student Handbook e-mailed prior to the first day of class. Parents and students must return the signed agreement page of this handbook to the Summer School Principal by Friday, June 23.

Class Cancellation & Class Time Changes

Classes will be confirmed via e-mail the Thursday prior to the first day of class.

At times, because of last minute personnel changes or in order to save a small class from cancellation, a class may be moved from one period to the next. This is a very rare occurrence, but please be aware that class schedules are subject to change, even at the last moment. We will do our best to communicate any changes as early as possible, and we appreciate your patience in this matter.

Textbooks and Supplies

Textbooks will be provided as needed, however, many classes will use online course materials. Non-Moreau students will be given access to online accounts and materials, however, all students are expected to supply their own laptop, as well as basic school supplies (paper, pens, pencils, etc.), throughout the duration of summer school. Please bring these supplies with you on the first day.

Progress and Report Cards

Report cards in the form of a Summer School transcript PDF will be e-mailed home by Monday, July 24, 2017. Progress will be monitored throughout the summer session. In the case that a student is receiving a grade below “C,” the Summer School Principal will contact home by Friday, June 30 and again, if necessary, by Wednesday, July 12.
