Continue the Legacy of Moreau
The Moreau Catholic Alumni Council supports and strengthens the community of Moreau graduates and encourages active participation in the life and legacy of the school. The Council seeks to provide a variety of opportunities to connect with former classmates, teachers and current students through social events, professional and educational networking programs and ongoing communication.
The council meets twice yearly and consists of Moreau Alumni from all decades and diverse backgrounds. An Executive Cabinet consisting of a Council Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary and MCHS Alumni and Special Events Coordinator oversee the strategic management of the Council, its meetings and initiatives. Members of the Council serve on at least one sub-committee (outlined below) and are invited to attend quarterly Council meetings and support ongoing alumni activities and events.

Activities and Social Events
Assist with planning and promoting Alumni activities and events, encourage participation from fellow alumni and represent the Council at Alumni gatherings including Alumni Night with the Oakland A’s or Giants, athletic reunions, class reunions, homecoming and Hall of Fame.
Annual Giving and Participation
Working with MCHS staff, encourage Alumni participation in The Moreau Fund and school fundraising events including Alumni annual phone-a-thon, major donor stewardship, Crab Feed, Moreau Golf Classic and Funding Hopes and Dreams Luncheon.
Mentoring/Education
Provide professional and educational mentoring to current students at Moreau Catholic through participation in programs like Alumni Career Day, the Young Alumni Network and the establishment of an Alumni Speaker’s Bureau.
Communication and Social Networking
Strengthen the alumni community through consistent communication and the use of creative online marketing and social networking tools including the alumni section of moreaucatholic.org, Mariner Waves and Alumni Spotlights in The Vector, Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, and Classmates.com.
