  Jazz Ensemble
   Full year, 10 units
   Prerequisite: Concurrent enrollment in Symphonic Band or Honors Wind Ensemble or String Orchestra and approval of instructor.  This course may be repeated for credit.  Offered before school during zero period.
This course meets the UC "f" requirement.
    
   This is an advanced jazz course with study in jazz literature and improvisation with emphasis on group participation and public performance.  Public performance is required.
