Teves Theatre Renovated
Teves Theatre Transformed, Thanks to Donors

Moreau Catholic’s Performing Arts home, Teves Theatre, received a facelift this summer, thanks to the generous support from the Moreau Community. The transformative renovation of the space included all new theatre seats, new carpet, paint, window treatments, stage work and a new main drape. The 2010 Student Fundraiser kicked off the campaign with students raising more than $90,000 toward the project. An additional $60,000 was contributed by Moreau alumni, parents, faculty and staff and board of trustees, many of whom sponsored a seat and received recognition with a laser engraved nameplate on one of the new seats.

"When school started this year and I walked into the new theatre and couldn’t believe my eyes. The renovation of the theatre is beyond what I could have ever dreamed. The seats, curtains and colors left me feeling that our theatre is now a place of comfort and inspiration," said Krista Schaarschmidt '14. "As I begin my sophomore year I look forward to sharing concerts, recitals, performances, and musicals with my friends, family and fellow Mariners in a theatre I am proud to call my second home."
