Moreau Catholic High School celebrates dedication of the Br. Stephen Walsh, CSC, Memorial Art Gallery
On May 7, 2012, President Terry Lee and Principal Lauren Lek of Moreau Catholic High School, along with members of the Board of Trustees, members of the Congregation of Holy Cross, faculty, students and friends commemorated the life and contributions of Holy Cross Brother Stephen Walsh, CSC, by proudly dedicating an art gallery bearing his name. The attractive space features themed exhibits of student work curated by art instructors Ms. Brooke Nelson and Ms. Karen Thomas. Several Moreau Catholic art students have received local and national recognition for their work under the auspices of Ms. Nelson and Ms. Thomas. The Br. Stephen Walsh, CSC, Memorial Student Art Gallery, thanks to the efforts of many, will provide a vibrant showcase for aspiring artists and is a fitting tribute to a beloved member of the Moreau Catholic community.
