The math department aims to integrate mathematics into the total
learning experience of the student. The members of the mathematics
department believe in the importance of providing each student with a
background in mathematics needed for the student’s future, whether it
is for further educational pursuits or for use as a productive member
of society.
Three years of college-preparatory mathematics are required for
college admission, and for graduation from Moreau Catholic. The
mathematics department provides college courses that are U.C. eligible.
For students interested in more challenging course work, the department
offers various Honors math classes as well as Advanced Placement
Courses for which an application is required. |
