| | Attendance Update
Please be reminded that any student leaving campus early for an appointment (doctor, dentist, etc.) is required to submit their note for early dismissal at the start of the day.
Students are coming to the attendance office at the time of their dismissal giving no advanced notice to the attendance staff who must account for the early dismissal.
Reception Area
The reception area at the front of the school is an area that needs to be quiet for the daily operation of the school’s phone system. Students should not use the seats provided for visitors and those wishing to sit need to go to the outside of the school or to a supervised area inside the school such as the library. The noise level due to acoustics can become very loud
and students need to support our receptionist and attendance office staff by talking quietly.
Dance Guests
Passes
are due to Mr. Alcott on the Friday before the dance. For sophomores,
juniors and seniors this is a change from last year and earlier than in
the past.
The two reasons are: to support the school's
administration in checking passes for accuracy and to support parents
of the students who wait until the last minute to make decisions,
putting pressure on parents to buy clothes, flowers, bids and other
accoutrements.
Library Closures
Please be aware of the school library closures for students on the following dates:
October 14 at 11:45
November 25 at 12:35
December 18 at 10:00
February 11 at 11:45
March 31 at 12:35
May 20 at 11:15
September 18 at 3:30
October 9 at 3:30
October 23 at 3:30
November 6 at 3:30
We will closed at 1:00 on September 28th for the presentation in the library.
