Get ready for an exciting summer with our newly revamped Mariner Explorers program! Full S.T.E.A.M. Ahead offers middle schoolers (6th to rising 9th graders) a unique, all-day, two-week experience. This program is designed to spark curiosity and foster a love for science and art through engaging, hands-on activities. Perfect for young minds eager to explore and discover the wonders of the scientific and artistic world! 

Maker Lab & Robotics

In this course, push the limits of your technological imagination in our MCHS Maker Lab. Learn how to use and create with equipment such as 3D printers, a laser cutter, Micro:bits, Raspberry Pi, paper circuits and littleBits, etc. Build a MakeBlock mBot2 robot and go through progressively more challenging coding projects, turning your robotic ideas and concepts into reality. Design your own culminating final project, which will be showcased to your friends and family during our Makers Day celebration.

Mixed Media Art

We will also include art and invite camp students to explore creativity through mixed media in both 2D and 3D formats. Campers will experiment with a variety of material such as paint, collage, clay, and sculpture to create unique artworks while learning foundational techniques. Emphasis is placed on creative problem-solving, artistic expression, and building confidence in a fun, supportive studio environment.

Please note that all course offerings are subject to change based on space and/or other constraints. Any changes will be made known to registered families as soon as possible. Moreau Catholic incurs substantial non-recoverable costs and expenses in planning, preparing and pre-paying for camps so please make your selection carefully.
