Students of the Month Criteria
The recognition of students who demonstrate academic, personal, and social responsibility. Students from each grade level will be selected every month. The selected students will get a certificate, their picture taken with the principal, plus a “go to the front of the lunch line” pass, which is good for one month.

Patterson | Chanelrae Mendoza | 11 | Educating Hearts and Minds | Chanelrae has been a great student, my Honors Spanish 3 class is not an easy one, but Chanelrae does all her work, tries her best and she always brings a positive attitude to the class. I don’t remember ever seeing her upset. She is involved in many other activities, and again, her positive persona makes others always want to be around her. If you ever need any volunteers to do something, Chanelrae will do it, and with a smile on her face. She makes work seem easy, and she encourages others to put their best effort in any situation. It is a pleasure to have her as my student. |

She loves helping others and she does that always in a kind and humble way. Her always willingness to help out the community is an example to others. She brings hope with her actions and she really believes in helping others. I feel very lucky to get to know her not only as my student in high level classes, but also as a leader in the RC club. |

She gets along with everyone, inside and outside the classroom and she is always willing to help others. Her warm smile is a present to others and this is one of the reasons why many seek her friendship. She is a great student as well, and she can work with anyone who asks for her partnership or her. I feel very proud of all her accomplishments. |

He is full of energy, always positive, with a great desire to learn and he loves working with others. Other peers love working with him and he motivates his classmates to participate. With her actions in class, working with anyone and in the club, participating in anything where she is needed, Addison shows what being family means. Avi has also become a very active participant in the Red Cross Club, his help during the blood drive made a difference in the success of the drive. I am proud of his work, not only in class, but also in the community. |

He has had several health obstacles, but he has worked hard to keep up with his classes. Christopher was also very brave participating in the Tedx talks, sharing his hardships with others and showing us not to give up and there is always hope. I am very proud of him and his accomplishments. |
