Students of the Month Criteria

The recognition of students who demonstrate academic, personal, and social responsibility. Students from each grade level will be selected every month. The selected students will get a certificate, their picture taken with the principal, plus a “go to the front of the lunch line” pass, good for one month.

Fr Bruce Tiffany Ferrer 10 Bringing Hope Tiffany is one of my brightest, most ambition, hard-working students. She brings me hope because of her fantastic work ethic and amazingly positive attitude. It is a joy to have her in class.
Fr Bruce Ashley Juarez Armenta 10 Educating Hearts and Minds Ashley is a top student and an amazing young woman. She is caring, hard-working, dependable, and a joy to have in class. She definitely cares about academics, but also is attentive to the needs of the heart.
Fr Bruce (Roen) Curtis Mendoza 10 Being Family Curtis is always smiling, exuding positive energy in class, and extremely bright, hard working, dependable and conscientious, and attentive to making the rest of the class feel comfortable with his gentleness and kindness. It is a great joy to have him in class.
Fr Bruce (Yibo) Ian Huang 10 Bringing Hope Ian is quiet but so hard-working, smart and conscientious. He is wonderful to have in class as one of my students. He always does his work on time and with outstanding quality. He is always polite, courteous and respectful of everyone else in class. It is a great pleasure to have him in class as one of my students.
Fr Bruce Alex Zhang 10 Building Respect Alex is one of my very best students. He is conscience, caring, hard-working, kind, respectful - so many good qualities that I cannot even name them all! I've also been blessed to know him out of class - on water polo, on our student trip to Europe last summer, and has an outstanding musician. It is a great joy to have Alex in my class.
Thomas Noah Tuason 9 Educating hearts aND Minds Noah has such creativity and craftsmanship to everything he does. He has even educated me on different mythological creatures from the Phillipines
Thomas Nathan Graef 9 Building Respect Nathan always comes in early and use Office Hours to it's fullest potential . Greart work ethic and kindness all around
Thomas Maya Shih 11 Educating hearts aND Minds Maya is so creative and diligent in her work - and real;ly educates even me in technical things in art 
Alparone Jihae Hwang 10 Bringing Hope Jihae stays after her class and helps set up the room for the next one. She's never been asked to do this but her help is invaluable. Always has a great additude and is such a joy to have in the room even if she isn't in my class.
Alparone Brooke Wells 9 Educating hearts and Minds Ms. Wells is always open and honest in class, be it in classroom discussion, improvisation or group projects. She has great emotional and academic maturity for a 9th grader. Her willingness to risk, fail, and risk again, is what any director or teacher hopes for.
Alparone Sarah Suero Lopez 12 Bringing Hope Sarah leads her peers whether she likes it or not. Her ability to juggle numerous responsibilities with calm, knowing when to listen and when to speak, and being a great example for those coming into Theatre after her makes me so hopeful of what this young woman will accomplish in the future.
Henny Chen Mandakini Iyer 10 Educating hearts and Minds Wherever Mandee is, she brings a distinctive vitality to the learning environment. Her warm smile, determination to lead her peers in group activities, and commitment to leading by example make her truly inspiring. She creates a positive atmosphere that motivates everyone around her to give their best.
Henny Chen Cara Chang 10 Building Respect Cara's growth is most evident in her willingness to take the initiative and embrace every possible responsibility. Whether she's actively engaged in class, assisting students who have missed lessons, or supporting various club activities, Cara is always present and ready to help. Her commitment and proactive spirit truly set her apart, making her an invaluable resource for both her peers and her community.
Henny Chen Stryker Hopkins 12 Bringing Hope Stryker dedicated substantial time outside the classroom to support the yearbook’s editing, contributing to everything from overall design and image processing to ensuring document consistency on each page and refining text layout. We are incredibly grateful for his contributions!
Alparone Arshia Singh 11 Bringing Hope Arsh makes a point to lead by example; staying late to clean up without being asked, or helping others when she feels they might need it. 
Alparone Alexander Sanchez 12 Being Family Alex can always be depended on to take care of tasks big or small. He always has a great additude and a joy to have in the theatre.
Henriquez Ava Chavez 11 Being Family Ava is a very respectful and caring individual who helps and cares for others without question. Always up beat and strong will and strong work ethic. Thank you for caring for your fellow team mates, we really appreciate it and though not a captain, she acts like one in all that she does. Keep it up. 
Henriquez Maya Shih 11 Bringing Hope Maya is creative and thorough on all that she does. She's been a great captain to her peers in the XC team. She's helped coaches with whatever they may need and is always one of first to offer her help. She's even helped make our Team handbook smoother and better organized for her peers and families to read and follow. Thank you for your thoughtfulness in all that you do and helping to elevate the leadership position of Captainship. 
Henriquez Travis Peng 12 Bringing Hope Travis is extremely caring, strong willed and determined to be the very best he can be. Although he was injured for part of the season, what impressed me most, was his willingness to work with others that were going through similar injuries and helping them out and giving them hope that they would get back on their feet and run another day. Now, many athletes look for him to help with routines and he's always willing to help. Thank you for always being aware and supportive of your peers but also of us coaches. 
Henriquez Elijah Orlina 11 Building Respect Elijah is very thoughful, caring and respectful. He brings with him a strong work ethic and caring heart. Hhis one of the first individuals to congratulate and help others whether in our team or other teams. Always waits for others to finish and help them out with water or walking or a simple High Five to congratulate others as they finish. Thank you for examplifying what good sportsmanship looks like. 
Henriquez Tilak Patel 12 Being Family Tilak has helped to elevate our captains but exemplifying the duties of this position on the team. Along with his fellow captains, he brings consistency to our everyday training. After each practice he's one of the first to lead the rest of the team into doing strength via CORE and Stretching. an invaluable tool for any athlete but can only be effective if done on a consistent basis. Thank you for elevating this position and always being positive and working with our younger athletes.
