Alitta Boyd ’09
Presented by Peter Peabody
As a Mariner athlete, Alitta excelled in Basketball, Track and Field, and Volleyball. In 2013, she graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in Communications. There, she was All American in Track and Field six times. In 2013, she was the PAC-12 Conference Triple Jump Champion and recipient of the USC Lindley Bothwell Spirit Award. Alitta is currently a Senior Program Manager for College Access.
Denise (Noleroth) Bunger ’92

Denise played Varsity Mariner Basketball for four years. The team won NCS her frosh year and the team was State Champion her senior year. During her senior year, she also played on the Varsity Volleyball team. Denise attended the University of San Francisco on an athletic scholarship from 1992 to 1994 then transferred to University of California Davis. She earned a BS in Exercise Science and was part of the Athletic Training Program. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Kinesiology from San Jose State University. Currently, Denise is a Physical Education and Leadership Teacher at Wells Middle School in Dublin, California and a Faith Formation Teacher at St. Raymond’s, also in Dublin.

Oscar Frayer ’16†

Oscar was one of the most transformative student-athletes that had ever come to Moreau Catholic High School. He played Varsity Basketball all four years at MCHS and was vital to the school's name recognition and increased admissions. Oscar played Basketball at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ on a full scholarship. In March 2021, he assisted the GCU Antelopes in taking first place and titles in both the Western Athletic Conference and regular season. The WAC Tournament titles culminated in their selection to the 2021 NCAA March Madness Tournament for the first time in GCU program history. Oscar died tragically on March 23, 2021, just three days after playing in the NCAA Tournament.
Dan Glasky ’79
Presented by Brian Glasky ’84
Dan lettered in Varsity Soccer all four years while attending Moreau Catholic. He was a starter his frosh year and the team, coached by Vern Davidson and Pat Forte, won the CAL Division title. The 1976 season held two memorable victories over arch rivals De La Salle and Bishop O’Dowd. After graduating, Dan attended Chabot College, Cal State Hayward, and the University of Texas at Dallas. He holds a BS in Business Administration with an emphasis in supply chain and an MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas. Currently, he is the Senior VP of Rent-A-Center Stores. Dan enjoys running and has completed 10 half-marathons.

Rob Overton ’06
Presented by Anthony Pontes ’80
Rob played Varsity Baseball and Varsity Basketball from 2003-2005 and Varsity Football from 2003-2006. After graduating Moreau Catholic, Rob attended the University of Montana and earned a BS in Business Management Information Systems. He played Football all four years and his team won four straight Big Sky Titles and played in back-to-back National Championship games. Currently, Rob lives in Washington and works as a Project Manager for Sierra Construction.
Jerry Sheets

Jerry played football at College of Marin and attended San Francisco State University where he earned a BS in Social Science and Physical Education. During his years at Moreau Catholic he was a US History teacher, administrator, and held many coaching and athletics roles including: Assistant Athletic Director, Varsity Football coach, Varsity Baseball coach, JV Football head coach, JV Baseball head coach, and Wrestling Strength and Conditioning coach. Jerry had the honor of coaching Darren Lewis ’85, Glenn Dishman ’88, and Glenn Baxley ’86, who all went on to play professional baseball.

1971 Varsity Baseball Team

The 1971 Varsity Baseball Team was the first Moreau Catholic High School Varsity Baseball team to win the CAL Division title. This was a team that was not expected to win but with hard work, determination, and stellar teamwork they took the trophy!

Kathy Joseph cared deeply for all students at Moreau Catholic High School. She passed away in January 2021 but her legacy lives forever. During the 2022 Athletic Hall of Fame, we will remember Kathy as one of the most innovative Athletic Directors (1979-1996) in the Bay Area.
