Parent Pledge Program
What is the Mandatory Parent Pledge Program?
At Moreau Catholic, tuition alone does not fully cover the cost of providing the exceptional education our students receive. In fact, more than 80% of tuition supports the salaries and benefits of our outstanding faculty and staff. The mandatory Parent Pledge Program helps sustain the many additional resources that make the Moreau Catholic experience possible.
Families are asked to consider a tax-deductible gift of at least $1,965 per student per year. If you are able to contribute more to help offset the full cost of a Moreau Catholic education, we are deeply grateful. Families receiving tuition assistance are encouraged to give at a level that is comfortable for their household.
These contributions help support the full student experience by investing in innovative academic programs, student support services, campus improvements, and opportunities that prepare students for college and beyond—ensuring that Moreau Catholic remains a vibrant and inspiring place to learn.
By the first day of school, every Moreau Catholic parent commits to participating in and fulfilling their role in the mandatory Parent Pledge Program through time, talent, or treasure. Additional information about these opportunities will be shared during upcoming Zoom meetings available for registration during enrollment. Families who do not fulfill their agreed-upon commitment to the mandatory Parent Pledge Program will be assessed a financial penalty in April 2027.
Since opening in 1965, the generosity of our parent community has helped ensure that Moreau Catholic continues to thrive and provide an outstanding college-preparatory education.
Thank you for supporting all Mariners. ⚓
Please read our FAQs to learn more about how fulfilling your pledge will benefit your student and all students over the course of their four years at Moreau Catholic. With gratitude for the parents before us and the gifts they left for our families, let’s pay it forward and support our current students AND the next generation of Mariners.
Remember, WE are Holy Cross!
Fund the Gap
Moreau Catholic High School’s partnership with parents, guardians, and family members of each one of our students is vital to the educational experience of our entire student family. The relationship harkens back to the very first Holy Cross school, St. Croix in Le Mans, France, where Father Moreau created a Parents Association of local parents to support and at times influence local officials and community members to support the endeavors and overall success of the school. It was a smashing success.
