With the whole team returning from the 2017 season, this year promised to be a great one for Moreau girls's softball and they did not disappoint.

The team was undefeated in preseason. The highlight was defeating San Ramon 7-1. The girls placed fourth in league play with great wins over Logan, American and Washington. They went on to win the Division 3 title with an 8-6 win or Marin Catholic, Moreau's first championship in 14 years. Outfielder Haley Fuentes '19 hit .429 with 24 RBIs and was named to the All-Bay Area News Group second team.

The team also placed four athletes on First Team All League, Gabi Perez '19, catcher; Arielle Acosta '18, shortstop; Haley Fuentes '19 outfield; Gabby Franco '18, utility player; and two on the second team: Janessa Khamesh '19 and Haley Santa Cruz '18. Acosta will be playing at Pace University next year.
