Mass to Celebrate 10th Anniversary of Beatification of Blessed Basil Moreau
The biggest feast day for the Congregation of Holy Cross priests, brothers and sisters throughout the world is the Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows on September 15th.
This year on that day, Moreau Catholic High School will commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Beatification of Blessed Basil Moreau with a special all-school mass celebrated by Bishop Michael Barber, SJ, of Oakland.
Ten years ago, Cardinal Jose Saraiva Martins, Prefect of the Vatican Congregation for Saints' Causes, read the Apostolic Letter of Pope Benedict XVI declaring that Venerable Basile Moreau "may be called Blessed."
