Holy Cross History
Congregation of Holy Cross
Since 1965, Moreau Catholic has prepared students for the rigors of college and the complexities of life. Our college-preparatory community puts a strong emphasis on leadership and innovation. With robust and unique curricular offerings, an unparalleled visual and performing arts program, a variety of award-winning athletic and co-curricular activities that meet the interests of all students, and continually evolving leadership and service opportunities, we are committed to empowering the outstanding achievement of each and every member of our diverse and inclusive Mariner family.
Moreau Catholic High School is sponsored by the Congregation of Holy Cross and is named after its founder, Blessed Basil Moreau. We are a community of faith, and we prepare our students through academic, social, and spiritual learning experiences that form and transform them as they become responsible citizens of our global community. A Holy Cross education is respectful and embracing of all humans. At Moreau Catholic, we pride ourselves in being a family that welcomes all. We empower our students to develop their talents, discover their passions, find their voices, and create the change that our world needs.
The worldwide Holy Cross educational network further enhances the Moreau Catholic experience for students. Our alumni, over 13,000 strong, are leading the way all over the globe. And when given the chance to look back, they credit their education, friendships, and experiences at Moreau Catholic for making all the difference.
